grateful for having a family,
When I was in high school, I used to write a song called "carrying out one's words" which has a lyric that says "only 60 years left to live. It may have been taken from Nobunaga's dance or something like that, but according to my high school sense, I was supposed to live only three more years. But since I think I still have a long way to go...
Covey said that as a general rule, you should start by envisioning the end. But I can't imagine it. In fact, I sometimes think about what will happen after I die. Even this blog itself is motivated in large part by the thought that my daughters might read it after I am gone.
In this way, I drown my fear of dying sooner or later, and at the same time, I am grateful for having a family, and I wonder if this is my sense of ownership of them.
I am sure that something, not words, will remain with my daughter and the people I live with. I think this is what I am living for now.
